Will I arrive at the dealership on time? I prayed, and then the Lord spoke to me very clearly. He said: "Don't worry, I'll get you there on time." When we arrived at the dealership, the receptionist said, "Have a seat for a moment." The gentleman in charge of your office is on the phone. Time to read the Bible....

This means that we are allowed to entrust our worries, fears, and burdens to God. He invites us to not carry our burdens alone, but to hand them over to Him because He cares for us. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV) These verses encourage us to trust in God's care and faithfulness, instead of allowing ourselves to be overwhelmed by our worries. God promises to stand by us in difficult times. Prayer is the door out of the prison of worries (H. H. Gollwitzer).
