Especially during the Christmas season, when people are surrounded by excessive brightness, many feel a longing to get to know what is true and real. And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, 2 Peter 1:19 (ESV) 1. The prophetic word a light The fulfilled prophecy is the proof of the truth of God's word. Deutsch English Die Advents und Weihnachtszeit ist von vielen Lichtern geprägt: Die Geschäftsstraßen leuchten. Das Wohnzimmer leuchtet. Überall leuchtet es hell. Gerade in der Weihnachtszeit, wo ein übermäßiger Lichtglanz die Menschen umgibt, spürt doch so mancher die Sehnsucht, das Wahre und Echte kennen zu lernen. Umso fester haben wir das prophetische Wort, und ihr tut gut daran, dass ihr darauf achtet als auf ein Licht, das da scheint an einem dunklen Ort, bis der Tag anbricht und der Morgenstern aufgeht in euren Herzen. 2.Petrus 1,19 (LUT) 1. He lets us know: Homesickness always means distance and closeness, separation and connectedness, pain and attraction at the same time. He told us that words are a way to build bridges from person to person.
