According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you. 1 Peter 1:3-4 (ESV) Peter begins his letter with praise. Just as Peter starts his letter with praise, so we should begin the day; then doubtful thoughts would have no room and the worries of everyday life would be pushed back. It is not that the Lord takes away all our worries, but through praise we gain the strength to master life. When a person responds to the Good News, a miracle of mercy happens. Deutsch English 1. Lebendige Hoffnung Gelobt sei Gott, der Vater unseres Herrn Jesus Christus! In seinem großen Erbarmen hat er uns neues Leben geschenkt. Wir sind neu geboren, weil Jesus Christus von den Toten auferstanden ist, und jetzt erfüllt uns eine lebendige Hoffnung. Es ist die Hoffnung auf ein ewiges, von keiner Sünde beschmutztes und unzerstörbares Erbe, das Gott im Himmel für euch bereithält. 1.Petrus 1,3-4 (HFA) Petrus stimmt seinen Brief mit einem Lobpreis an. Wie Petrus seinen Brief mit Lobpreis beginnt, so sollten wir den Tag beginnen, dann hätten zweifelhafte Gedanken keinen Raum und Sorgen des Alltags würden zurückgedrängt. Philippus der Evangelist   Ein Engel des Herrn forderte Phillipus auf: Geh in Richtung Süden, und zwar auf der Straße, die von Jerusalem nach Gaza führt. Engel sind Boten Gottes, die auch in Menschengestalt sich offenbaren können. Ihre Hauptsache, den Willen Gottes auf Erden durch Handlungen und Wort des Herrn kundzutun. 2.
