Revitalization, refreshment, stimulation
In sweltering heat, nature needs trees, fields, meadows, and flowers. Animals and we humans urgently require refreshment through dew and rain, through air currents and winds. A walk in the forest is beneficial, in the shade of the trees. Nature speaks the own language of God's diversity.
Our five senses experience wonders. For example: The sun rays that illuminate the path through the leaves of the trees. The chirping of the birds that is good for us. The forest also has special scents that can only be smelled there. The rustling of the leaves, a forest animal hopping by. In the forest, we always experience refreshment, tranquility, and revitalization.

3. God's Word gives life force
It nourishes not only the mind, but the soul. It also quenches the inner hunger for meaning, truth, and hope.
Noomi's blissful experience:
Due to a famine, Elimelech and his family moved to Moab abroad. After a few years, her husband Elimelech died, as did her two sons Machlon and Kiljon. When Naomi heard that the famine was over, she returned to Bethlehem with her daughter-in-law Ruth.

I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you. Philemon 1:4-7 (ESV)
There she had moving experiences. Ruth, her daughter-in-law, became the wife of Boaz, who was a wealthy and respected citizen in Bethlehem. Months later, Ruth gave birth to her first child. This brought great joy among many people. The women of Bethlehem said to Naomi: Blessed be the Lord! He has given you this child who will care for you.
He shall be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age, for your daughter-in-law who loves you, who is more to you than seven sons, has given birth to him. Ruth 4:15 (ESV)
God the Father in heaven has not forgotten Naomi. He has transformed her sadness into joy.
