1. Glauben
Bethanien liegt nahe Jerusalem. Lazarus war gestorben. Martha und Maria hatten viele Menschen um sich, die sie trösteten. Als Martha hörte, dass Jesus auf dem Weg zu ihnen war, lief sie ihm entgegen. Martha sagte zu Jesus: „Herr, wärst du hier gewesen, würde mein Bruder noch leben. Aber auch jetzt weiß ich, dass Gott dir alles geben wird, worum du ihn bittest.“
Jesus spricht zu ihr: Ich bin die Auferstehung und das Leben. Wer an mich glaubt, der wird leben, ob er gleich stürbe; und wer da lebt und glaubt an mich, der wird nimmermehr sterben. Glaubst du das? Sie spricht zu ihm: Ja, Herr, ich glaube, dass du der Christus bist, der Sohn Gottes, der in die Welt kommt.

Eine menschliche Begegnung mit Jesus ist nicht mehr möglich. Oder doch?
In einem Lied wird deutlich:
Wenn mir der Herr in seinem Wort begegnet, wenn ich die großen Taten Gottes seh, wie er das Volk des Eigentums gesegnet, wie er`s geliebt begnadigt je und je.

2. Hoffen - Hoffnung
In unserer Umgangssprache hat Hoffen die Bedeutung einer gewissen Erwartung.
Jeremia der Prophet Gottes, verkündigte jahrzehnte lang Gottes Worte an das Volk Israel. Kehrt zurück zu Gott! Lasst das Böse und tut Gutes. Er war ein treuer Diener seines Herrn.
In seinen Klageliedern lässt er uns wissen, dass er in einer hoffnungslosen Situation war. Er war am Ende. Hoffnung in der größten Not: Aber eine Hoffnung bleibt mir noch, an ihr halte ich trotz allem fest:
Die Güte des HERRN hat kein Ende, sein Erbarmen hört niemals auf, es ist jeden Morgen neu! Groß ist deine Treue, o Herr! Darum setze ich meine Hoffnung auf ihn, der HERR ist alles, was ich brauche. Denn der HERR ist gut zu dem, der ihm vertraut und ihn von ganzem Herzen sucht. Klagelieder 3,22-25 (HFA)
Lebendige Hoffnung.
Gelobt sei Gott, der Vater unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, der uns nach seiner großen Barmherzigkeit wiedergeboren hat zu einer lebendigen Hoffnung durch die Auferstehung Jesu Christi von den Toten, 1.Petrus 1,3 (LUT)
3. Liebe
Viele Menschen verwechseln Liebe mit einem Gefühl. Wenn kein Gefühl mehr da ist gibt man auf. Die Liebe hat ihren Ursprung in Gott, offenbart durch Jesus Christus. Angenommen und praktiziert von den Gläubigen - von uns.
Ein Beispiel. Paulus im Gefängnis in Rom. Er schreibt einen Brief an Philemon.
Lieber Philemon! Ich danke meinem Gott immer wieder, wenn ich im Gebet an dich denke. Denn ich habe von deinem Glauben an unseren Herrn Jesus gehört und davon, wie du allen Christen in Liebe verbunden bist. Ich bete, dass unser gemeinsamer Glaube in dir weiter wächst und du immer mehr erkennst, wie reich uns Jesus Christus beschenkt hat. Durch die Liebe, die du anderen erwiesen hast, habe auch ich viel Freude und Ermutigung erfahren, denn ich weiß, wie oft du, lieber Bruder, andere Christen in ihrem Glauben gestärkt hast.
Philemon 1,4-7 (HFA)
Was bleibt, sind Glaube, Hoffnung und Liebe. Von diesen dreien aber ist die Liebe das Größte. 1. Korinther 13,13 (HFA)
Liebe ist grundlegend für die Gemeinschaft, ein Schatz für jede Person. Wer da will der komme und empfange.

1. Faith

A human encounter with Jesus is no longer possible. Or is it?

2. Hope
In our colloquial language, hoping has the meaning of a certain expectation.
Jeremiah, the prophet of God, preached God's words to the people of Israel for decades. Return to God! Leave evil and do good. He was a faithful servant of his master.
In his Lamentations he lets us know that he was in a hopeless situation. At the end. Hope in the greatest need: But I still have one hope, I hold on to it despite everything:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. Lamentations 3,22-25 (ESV)
Living hope.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1. Petrus 1,3 (ESV)
3. Love
Many people confuse love with a feeling. When there is no more feeling, you give up. Love has its origin in God, revealed through Jesus Christ. Adopted and practiced by the believers - by us.
An example. Paul in prison in Rome. He writes a letter to Philemon:
Thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you. Philemon 1,4-7 (ESV)
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1. Corinthians 13,13 (ESV)
Love is fundamental to community, a treasure to each person. Anyone who wants to come and receive.
