1. A terrible accident
I was driving on a busy street on a beautiful summer day. Suddenly I saw a terrible accident that had happened just before. A tractor driver who did not respect the right of way was hit by a car and dragged along.
He was now lying on the side of the road covered in blood and with severe head injuries. By quickly binding the deep wounds, we were able to curb the man's heavy blood loss somewhat. An immediate blood transfer in the ambulance that was called saved him from certain death!

2. People put themselves in danger
Many people today are consciously and indifferently heading towards eternal ruin. The temptations of the dirty mass media, corrupt films on television and smartphones, and obscene magazines are so numerous that the vast majority of people are drawn into sin and thus unhappiness as if by a pull. Because of disappointment in life, many people become very desperate. And so they drift towards eternal destruction. Is there still salvation?
3. The lifesaver
Jesus Christ is the strongest and greatest lifesaver of all time. He voluntarily and without compulsion left the splendor and glory of his heavenly Father.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (ESV)
This means that all people are included, even today.
When he accepted our death on the cross at Calvary, the thief hanging next to him was the first person to receive forgiveness of his sins, gain eternal life and enter paradise with Christ. What a glorious salvation!
Ezekiel already wrote that God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that he turn from his wrong ways and live.
Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? Ezekiel 18:23 (ESV)
4. She found the saving message through a Christian brochure
A girl who was looking for interesting bits and pieces in a garbage dump found a christian brochure that gripped her as she read it. It gave her the impetus to quickly turn back to God, and today she is a happy Christian.
If we waste away and oversleep the time God has given us, God will find other means and ways to free the unsaved from the deadly sleep of sin! Salvation is there for all people in the stream of grace at Golgotha! Accept this unique offer of salvation from Jesus, he loves you so much too.
