Valuable, loved and respected

Recently I received mail with the note Insurance: Our promise for 2025. You are important to us! They are among the millions of people who trust us. Also in the new year, as your insurance, we offer: security, stability and reliability. I gratefully accepted it.

While reading it, I thought that there was something bigger. God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. A divine authority that acts over us humans.

1. All people are important to God! He has revealed his love

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.. John 3:16 (ESV)

This is God's great offer, which applies to all people. If we believe and trust and accept God's offer, then we will receive eternal life.

Three steps are necessary:
  • Recognizing Sin
  • Confessing Sin
  • Welcoming Jesus into our hearts

Once our decision has been made, we are among those who trust God.
This is the starting point for experiencing and receiving more from God.

2. God's Offerings

God's offers are reliable: true and proven. That refers to the promises, in God's Word.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)

Even Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was not yes and no at the same time. For he himself is God's yes to us in his person. According to 2 Corinthians 18-19

There are so many promises in God's Word that are enough for our entire lives. A good piece of advice is: read God's Word and get to know it!

3. Powerful, Wealthy

The words from the insurance letter were:
If you get into trouble, we're here to help.. We are able to help and support you.

God is much more. He is omnipotent and unlimited in his possibilities

Three men, three statements:

Moses speaks:

The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands.
Deuteronomy 28:12a (ESV)

David's words:

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.
1. Chronicles 29:11 (ESV)

Asaph the Psalmist:

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. Psalm 77,11 (ESV)

Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God?
Psalm 77:13 (ESV)

You with your arm redeemed your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph.
Psalm 77:15 (ESV)

4. Individual – personal

If you have any questions, need help, we are always there for you. Available around the clock. What an offer! The insurance

The hint in God's Word: The connection to the kingdom of heaven is always possible.

And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”. Psalm 50:15 (ESV)

Paul writes:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:6 (ESV)

Jesus the Good Shepherd invites:

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest..
Matthew 11,28 (ESV)

5. Conclusion

We are important to God! Precious, loved and respected. Our intimate relationship with God and with Jesus Christ thrives on mutual trust.

Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.
Hebrew 10:35 (ESV)
